However, amidst an oppressive political climate and the ongoing pandemic, this song paled in comparison to the disturbing nature of the day-to-day of many lives. It serves as a satirical reminder that we are only as safe as keep each other and whether that means literally, spiritually, or metaphorically, we may be Dead by Dawn if we are not careful.
