Written circa 2009/2010, Anastasia Rose mainly just performed this song at friends' house shows and at some open mics, concerned that the content would be disturbing or otherwise unsavory. After living in a politically disturbing and unsavory climate in addition to being amidst a pandemic, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to release this song. Thank you to Brian Hunt for all your help and work on this song!
